Meet – Liam Beck
Kinesiologist
Liam first joined the Altea team in June 2024 as a volunteer while completing hours for his post-secondary program. His passion for movement and patient care quickly stood out, and he soon transitioned into a Physiotherapy Assistant role while waiting for his registration with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK) to finalize. We were thrilled to officially welcome him as a Registered Kinesiologist in September 2024, and he’s been a valued member of the Altea family ever since!
Born and raised in Prince George, Liam began his education at the College of New Caledonia (CNC), where he earned a two-year diploma in Kinesiology. He then went on to complete his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at UBC Okanagan. His strong academic background, easygoing nature, and commitment to helping others move well make him a fantastic fit for our team.
In addition to working with clients in the clinic, Liam also leads some of our hydrotherapy sessions. Outside of work, you’ll often find him enjoying the outdoors—whether he’s playing pickleball or perfecting his throw on the local disc golf course.
