Concussion Therapy

TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorders)
Our TMJ treatment services are designed to help you manage pain and discomfort related to temporomandibular joint disorders, which could include jaw pain, clicking or popping sounds when you open or close your mouth, headaches, and earaches.

Acupuncture

Registered Massage Therapy (RMT)

Registered Massage Therapists are licensed healthcare professionals and this service is often covered by benefits..
Coverage & Direct Billing Services
At Altea Physiotherapy + Wellness, we understand that navigating insurance and funding for healthcare services can be confusing and overwhelming. That’s why we offer support for extended healthcare plans, Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB)/WorkSafeBC claims, and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims, including those made through the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC).
Our team of experienced professionals can help you understand your coverage and direct bill to many providers, so that you can get the care you need without any added stress.
In addition, our team has extensive experience in treating patients who have been injured in workplace accidents or motor vehicle accidents. We are familiar with the reporting requirements and documentation necessary for WCB and MVA/ICBC claims, and can work with your medical team and insurance provider to ensure that you receive the care you need.
Extended Healthcare Plans
We work with a variety of extended healthcare plans, including those offered through employers, unions, and other organizations. Direct billing can help simplify the billing process and reduce your out-of-pocket expenses.
WCB/WorkSafeBC
Our team is experienced in treating patients who have been injured on the job. We can help you through the process of making a Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB)/WorkSafeBC claim and can bill directly for your treatment.
MVA/ICBC
Were you injured in a Motor Vehicle Accident and have a claim with ICBC or another insurer? We have experience in treating patients who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents, and we can work with your medical team and direct bill your insurance provider to help you recover as efficiently as possible.
