Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Kinesiologist to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in exercise science, biomechanics, and human physiology, with a passion for promoting health and well-being through physical activity. In this role, you will provide specialized Kinesiology services and assessments, conduct hydrotherapy sessions, and lead exercise classes for ICBC, WCB, and private insurance companies. Additionally, comprehensive report writing will be part of your responsibilities.

Job Duties: 

  • Evaluate individuals’ physical abilities, movement patterns, and fitness levels.
  • Develop personalized exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, and overall health.
  • Assist in preventing injuries and aid in the recovery process through tailored exercise plans.
  • Educate clients on the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices.  
  • Work with athletes to optimize performance through specialized training and biomechanical analysis.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and organizations to provide holistic care and promote physical activity.

Requirements:

  • Registered Kinesiologist certification in British Columbia
  • Experience with ICBC, WCB, and private healthcare providers is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care to clients
